Tim Gordon’s career as a filmmaker has spanned 18 years, during which he has been involved with various projects including feature films, episodic TV, commercials, promotional videos, independent films and music videos.

Tim started his film career in San Francisco as a lighting technician on such films as THE ROCK, JACK and GRAND AVENUE. After moving to the East Coast, Tim continued working in features on films like DEEP IMPACT, SUM OF ALL FEARS, CONTACT, ENEMY OF THE STATE and ARLINGTON ROAD, among others. During this time, Tim also began working as a Cinematographer on numerous commercials, promos, episodic TV and dramatic films. In 1999, Tim co-directed and shot the short film FURIOUS SEASONS, for which he was awarded a PEER award for Cinematography. More recently, Tim has served as DP on TV shows for HBO, ESPN, DISCOVERY, FOX SPORTS and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, among others. In 2006, Tim co-wrote, co-directed and shot the short film TRIGGER EFFECT. This dramatic short played in film festivals across the country in 2007-08.

Presently, Tim works as a Director/DP on numerous commercials and promos for clients like Best Buy, FORD, Verizon, Sony, NBA, NHL, NFL and many others. Tim has won 5 Emmy awards for writing, directing and cinematography since 2007. Tim is also part of an Indie production company, ROAD DOG FILMS that has optioned the novel blood & circumstance to be made into a feature film in 2012.
